Banchory Tennis Club Membership 2019/20
Membership renewals are now due for the coming season, starting March 1st 2019.
To minimise the administrative burden we ask that you renew as soon as possible before the start of the season. As last year, any memberships not renewed by April 15th, will be suspended, and an additional ‘late payment’ fee of £10 will be charged on top of the renewal fee to reactivate the membership. This is really there to 'focus your mind' on not forgetting to renew, and to minimise the effort involved in chasing payments.
The Fees for the Banchory tennis club for the 2019/20 season are as follows:
|Senior Citizen (60+)||£92|
|Student (in full time education)||£63|
|Young Person (18-25)||£63|
|Junior (over 8)||£46|
|Mini (under 8)||£23|
|5 year Single Adult||£462|

Banchory Branded Clothing is now available for ordering.
Due to popular demand, we are offering a selection of BLTC branded clothing for sale. The T shirts, Polo shirts, Jackets and Hoodies can all be personalised on the back, either with Banchory Tennis or with the player’s name. Samples can be seen in the clubhouse (or indeed in action on the court!)
As before, we can only order in batches of 10 items, so will not be able to do so unless we have a minimum of 10 orders per item.
So that we can get the items manufactured and delivered before the end of the season, we need to get an order placed ASAP. Can I therefore ask that you place any orders as soon as possible and by Monday 4th Feb at latest.
All the garments will have the new 'Banchory Tennis' Logo on the front, and some have wording on the back.
You can look through our catalog to view all the items that are available.
You can then order one of the items via our 'Shop'. You need to be logged in to access this 'Shop' page.
All the designs and prices for all the available garments can be viewed on our 'Catalog' or 'Shop' pages. You can peruse all the garments and 'place an order' for whatever item(s) you would like to order. At this stage, we are only using our 'Shop' to collect orders from interested members. Once we get past the minimum 10 items order threshold that the supplier has set, we will contact everyone that has placed an order to confirm that they still want the garment and are happy to commit to buying.
As this is a custom garment (with Banchory Logo), it is not possible to return the item after it has been made
To access the 'BLTC Shop' you will need to login, and you will see the menu item in the 'Member Pages':

LTA - Wimbledon 2019 Ballot "Opt In" request - FEB 22nd Deadline
YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU!
PLEASE "OPT IN" TO THE WIMBLEDON BALLOT FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR CLUB MEMBERS.
Each year, the LTA allocate a number of pairs of wimbledon tickets to each affiliated tennis club.
The annual procedure now is that each BTM (LTA member) must 'Opt In' to the Wimbledon Ballot.
The number of tickets that the LTA allocate to Banchory will depend on how many members have 'Opted In'.
So, we really need all our members (every individual Adult and Junior member) to be signed up with the LTA (Lite membership is free to BLTC club members), and click the button saying they want to 'Opt In' to the Wimbledon Ballot.
Doing this will not actually enter you into the Ballot, but it will only register you under "Banchory Tennis Club" as an active member 'interested' in Wimbledon tickets.
Banchory Tennis club will arrange its own Ballot, depending on how many tickets the LTA assign to us. The number of tickets is proportional to have many people have 'Opted In'.
So, it's that time again...
We need as many as possible Banchory tenns members (all individual Adults and Juniors), to 'Opt In' to the Ballot on the LTA website.
If you are not already a British Tennis member, joining is easy and free. PLEASE become a British Tennis Member via the lins below.
To Join the LTA (British Tennis): use the 'Sign up today' option, and specify Banchory LTC as the 'Place to play'.
Choose the free "Lite Membership".
If you are already a BTM member, just log in, and you will see the blurb for "Opt In to Wimbledon Ballot":
Click the large Green "Opt In" Button.
I know it's a faff to do, but please take time to register and opt in. It is a great benefit for the whole Banchory Tennis Club Membership, and many members look forward to the chance to attend Wimbledon.
Deadline for 'Opting in' is February 22nd.
Banchory's ticket allocation will be driven by how many have regsterred and with the LTA and "Opted In" by February 22nd.
If you don't "Opt In" (by Feb 22nd), you will not be eligible to participate in our Ballot for the tickets that are eventually allocated to Banchory Tennis Club.
Last year we were allocated 20 pairs of tickets included one pair of tickets to the men's final!
